Community events using our new Country Club
We want to generate activities to bring our community together, meet new friends and celebrate long time relationships. In this effort, the committee has scheduled a three piece band, "Hump Night Band", to perform for us on March 27th, 8:pm to Midnight. No cover charge. The band plays a little bit of everything. They play a lot of Classic Rock, Blues, and some Country. They also do songs that go back to the 30's & 40's.... the "Oldies". Because of their diversity, they are one of the more popular bands in our area.
We also have Dayton Waters scheduled for July 24th. Our goal is to try to have something once a month that the residents can enjoy right here in our own Diamondhead.
The community's response to the March 27th event will determine our continued actions regarding this type of event. This committee will appreciate comments from Diamondhead's membership....in fact, we are asking for your encouragment of efforts. We are open to your suggestions ! Please join us !
