Board meeting ~ Dec. 6, 2016

7:pm  ~ Meeting opened with the unanimous approval of the November minutes.  Click on these pictures to enlarge:

 

Cart Path Repair for #18 = $433.76  ~This amount was unanimously approved to be deducted from the Cart Path Fund of $3,088.00.

An adjustment was made to the Collection assessment policy to allow collections to be handled by the DPOA attorney.  Motion passed unanimously.

GM Dennis expressed his appreciation to his office staff for the great job they are doing with regard to information concerning the 400+ delinquent lots.

January Board Meeting:

• Architectural Committee / Dave Orel will be presenting a change to the Rules for Storage Buildings for the Board to consider.
• Safety Committee / Allen Magee will be presenting proposed changes to the DH Police Department.
• Finance Committee will be meeting every week during the month of January to discuss the proposed budget for 2017-18 fiscal year.  This information is not, yet,confirmed.

The Board adjourned to Executive Session @ 7:12 pm to choose two (2) new board members to fill the recent vacancies and to discuss a legal issue.

The chosen board members will be contacted for acceptance before any announcement is made.

As noted previously, President Chris Wasson resigned from the DPOA Board of Directors.
Wednesday, November 16th, Vice President Larry Hibbs resigned from the Board, as well.

Town Meeting ~ July 23, 2015

President Mary Pracht announced her resignation from the Board.

• Mary read a list of received membership complaints that was taken to the GM
• Mary was accused by the GM of ‘interfering with the Front Office’. “Micromanaging”.  When members call Mary regarding any concern, it is her duty to relay this message to the GM.
• ‘Keep away from him and let him do his job’ was said by a Board member.
• ‘This Board is getting ready to do detrimental things to this community that I will not be a part of.’
• ‘I’m tired of the backstabbing going on by this Board’
• ‘I have more respect for the nay-sayers and the residents of this community than I do for this Board.’
• ‘Therefore, I resign as president & director of this Board.  Effective immediately!”
