I was not aware of this. So, I thought I would pass on this information.
Subject: Emergency
The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile; network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out.

Hot Springs County Trash Removal Service
Hi Diane,
At present, the Hot Spring County side of DH has one choice for trash removal, John Stephens. The HS County Waste Authority recommended another company.
Early Bird Sanitation out of Malvern is interested in doing business in DH and charges $15 instead of the $20 monthly fee of Mr. Stephens.
Early Bird Sanitation was recommended by the Hot Spring County Waste Authority. They pick up on Firday mornings and charge $15 per month. The owner's are Linda and Jerry Toland and the contact number is 501-332-7202.

Community Standards Committee - 3-11-11
Update for the Community Standards Committee
We met last Friday evening to bring our ideas together in hopes of compiling the ideas into one cohesive document. Good News! We have succeeded! This has been a terrific committee with which to serve. We all truly wish to bring Harmony by creating standards that meet the needs of this unique community. We understand that each of us have our own concerns with regards to Golf, Lake, Part-Time Residents, Working Families, and Retired Couples (not to mention geographic problems!). Our goal was to take all of our desires into consideration while putting together this new [& improved] list of Standards. Chairman Rick Noffsinger expressed his deep appreciation to all the committee members.

Byron Efird - Candidate for the Board
First off I want to thank the Board members who will be coming off this year for their hard work and their time they put in for our community. Secondly, I have made my decision to run for the Board of Directors this year. If elected I promise to always make my decisions on what is right for the Diamondhead residents.

Rick Noffsinger - Candidate for the Board
Do you know me?
Hello Diamondhead. I have submitted my name to run for the POA Board this coming election. We have 3 super hard working Board members that are coming off the Board and they will be hard to replace. The present economy has our working environment hard hit by increased workloads and less pay. So far we have been blessed in Diamondhead and have not seen a lot of the affects. However, with the increased fuel prices everything else goes up and I feel it important that the new members elected to the POA Board are willing to work as hard as the members going off.

Water Treatment Town Hall

Subject: Water Treatment Town Hall
In My Opinion
On Monday night, February 28, 2011, I attended the Town Hall meeting in room 104 of the Civic Center. The topic of discussion, as Hot Springs City Manager and panel moderator, Lance Hudnell so unctuously pointed out, was the proposed Water Treatment Plant. The room was filled to capacity and the natives were restless.

Water Treatment Plant - Meeting 2-28-11
A point of concern.
Following is information from the February 28, 2001 public town meeting of the Hot Springs Water and City Council. It consists of specific information regarding new water facilities for the water district.
I noted there were 130 plus residents, many from Garland County, outside the city, were present. An estimated 10 percent of the total was from a housing development in the area wanted for the installation of the new facility. Three were from Diamondhead and none from Riviera Utilities or the people trying to buy the company. I find this strange as it concerns the water quality for Diamondhead. These people should be concerned and involved.
