Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day

The annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Garland County Fairgrounds, 4831 Malvern Ave.

The event is designed to provide safe, free disposal of unused or leftover household products containing toxic, flammable, corrosive or reactive chemicals, a news release said.
