From the Nominating Committee
As most
Diamondhead property owners know, the affairs of the community are managed by a
Board of nine directors. Each year an
election is held to elect new directors to replace outgoing members of the
board. This year we will be electing three
new board members, replacing outgoing directors Jack Watson, Diane Jones and
Suzzi Combs. Although the election seems
a long way away, now is the time for qualified, dedicated property owners to
sign up for this year’s election. Close
of nominations this year is 5:00 PM on Monday, April 15. To qualify as a candidate, a person must have
owned property in Diamondhead for at least one year prior to close of
nominations, and must be current in payment of all POA dues and
assessments.
It is the
duty of the Nominating Committee, as defined in the By-Laws, to make
nominations for election to the board of directors. Anyone who wishes to become a candidate for
this year’s election should contact a member of the nominating committee, who
will be happy to provide more information about what is involved in serving as
a director. Members of this year’s
