explaining the new arrangement of chairs for the membership. All chairs were placed in a semi-circle

In keeping
with the purpose of the committee as described in the committee charter, Sharon
Carr and Diane Porterfield toured the community to review the condition of
properties previously reported for noncompliance with “Diamondhead Community
Standards Rules and Regulations.”
Additionally, these two committee members noted additional properties
and common areas, not previously cited, that were also determined to be not in
compliance with community standards. The
findings from this tour are as follows:

Subjects discussed:
- Complaint form – is available in the Front Office. Forms may be completed without signatures.
- DRC building near the #2 Tee Box has a large hole in the roof which needs to be addressed.
- DH Community Standards Rules & Regulations #1999-01-04B will be amended to read that the Community Standards Committee will review and approve all permits needed for RV / Water Craft / Road Craft parking, not the ACC. If a DH member has a question regarding the placement of their RV, Water Craft, or Road Craft, he/she may contact the POA office and members of the Community Standards Committee will assist in deciding on an acceptable location.
- Next meeting will be on Friday, Dec. 2nd, 6: pm at the home of Diane Porterfield.

Standards Committee Update
One week ago, Thursday June 2nd, the Standards Committee met to explore ideas regarding the “Standards” set by our community. We came to unanimous agreement that Diamondhead should set the example for all of us to follow. We discussed grounds keeping from Deli to entrance, continued up Independence
We are very pleased to inform you today that the response was overwhelming! Immediately, the front entrance was swarming with volunteers & maintenance crew trimming, weeding, and cleaning up!!

We want to thank the general manager for his quick response. We are certain our neighbors will feel inclined to “keep up with the POA”. Everyone working together demonstrates the pride we have in Diamondhead.

Community Standards Committee - 3-11-11
Update for the Community Standards Committee
We met last Friday evening to bring our ideas together in hopes of compiling the ideas into one cohesive document. Good News! We have succeeded! This has been a terrific committee with which to serve. We all truly wish to bring Harmony by creating standards that meet the needs of this unique community. We understand that each of us have our own concerns with regards to Golf, Lake, Part-Time Residents, Working Families, and Retired Couples (not to mention geographic problems!). Our goal was to take all of our desires into consideration while putting together this new [& improved] list of Standards. Chairman Rick Noffsinger expressed his deep appreciation to all the committee members.
