Town Meeting - November 11, 2010

November 11, 2010
All Board Members were present.

Present Ray Massey started off the discussion.

Ohio Street needed to be moved. This work has already been done. It will be an even swap of property between DRC and the POA. A new plat of Diamondhead will be drawn up.

Duane Mountain presented a proposal regarding For Sale signs on vacant lots. (See Town Meeting –October 21, post date 10-25-10) The Bill of Assurance states that no signs will be allowed without written consent by the Grantor / Developer. A resolution from 2005 allowed “For Sale” signs to be placed on lots with homes, but not on vacant lots, stated Eric Markle. Dee Dee Ott explained the history of this controversial issue.
President Ray Massey stated that this proposal was presented to the wrong people. It should be presented to DRC – Diamondhead Resort Community / Developers. “This is moot issue”.
