President Larry Hibbs / GM Report:  The Fire Department’s Lock Box has been installed.  Due to this installation, both lift Gate arms now open with each vehicle entry.

Marquee – Suzie Combs:
“What is the problem with the Marquee?”  “The Marquee is dead.”
Suzie is concerned about the expiration of the Marquee’s warranty.
Larry said he would look into that issue.

Irrigation System – John Porter stated that the current diesel pump, that operates the irrigation system, is ‘locked-up’.  This financial expense to fix or replace the 40 year old piece of equipment is in next year’s budget plan.  John suggests a comparison been reconstruction of the current system with the purchase of a new irrigation system.

General Manager SearchGordon Moore asked, “Where are we in the GM Search?”
Sharon Carr stated, “We don’t need one”.
Diane Jones & Larry Hibbs stated. “We save $1,100 a week by not having to pay a GM.”
Gordon Moore explained, with all due respect to the president of the Board’s actions with regard to the operations of Diamondhead, it would be best for all concerned to have a general manager in place.
John Porter agreed with Gordon saying we need to begin the training process now so the new GM is ready when we need him - when business gets busy again in the Spring.
Sharon Carr suggested obtaining a resume from Dave Oreal, who has been taking care of several issues for the POA office.
Larry Hibbs plans to put an add in the newspaper for a new GM.

ACC Committee’s proposal for a mandatory dumpster to be on site for all major construction was considered a good idea by the Board.

Wild Life - Chris Dawson explained the plans for a geese reduction program following the Game & Fish regulations.
