Board Takes Action on Parking Violations
The DPOA Board of Directors, at the March 26th meeting, voted to restore basic parking rules that will be strictly enforced beginning October 1, 2010.
1. NO boats, personal watercraft, trailers of any kind, buses, trucks or other vehicles not normally used for personal or family transportation will be allowed to be parked or stored on residential property longer than 72 hours unless in a garage, carport or ACC approved area.
2. NO recreational vehicles may be stored on residentail property without guidance and approval of the ACC.
3. NO derelict (any motorized vehicle inoperable for more than 30 days) may be stored or parked on residential property or common ground except in a garage or carport.
4. NO vehicle used for commercial purposes such as dump trucks, flatbed trucks, cargo vans, cargo trailers and self powered construction equipment shall be parked or stored in a residential area, common ground or road right of way other than for the purpose of accommodating work on the premises. This does not include autos, pick-up trucks and vans up to 6000 pounds G.V.W. used for family transportation.
Between Now and October 1,2010 Residents Must Find Complying Storage Areas for All of These Items.
Fines and Other Penalties will be levied for Violations!
