asking questions and compiling information for the purchase of new insurance
before the due date in July.

A sample of the POS system reports was passed out to the
Board. Click on the picture to view:
Computer System: The POA office is ‘functioning’. President Suzzi
Combs explained that we are waiting for a bucket truck to
lift a WLETC line above 50 feet. It was
suggested to speak to the Fire Department for assistance.
No financials available for two (2) more weeks. Hopefully, at the Agenda meeting in June.
30 Golf Carts are
to be delivered on Friday, May 24, 2013.
Focus in now online!

A lot was given back
to the POA. This lot would normally
be given to DRC = Diamondhead Resort Community / the Developer for a total sum
of $300.00. There has been a request to
purchase this ‘unbuildable’ lot.
- Diane Porterfield made a motion to sell this lot for a total of $10.00. The new owner would than pay the POA dues of $545.00 at closing. All debris that is placed within the common area [25 feet from the center of the roadway] will be picked up and hauled away by the POA. This motion passed unanimously.
It was suggested that a request be made of the Fire
Department to trim the overhanging tree limbs / branches from the roadways.
Diane Porterfield made a
motion for all the profits from the Vehicle Stickers & Gate Cards be
applied to the Roads. ‘Our roads are in
terrible condition, the roads service the entire community, and this money was
not used to make this year’s budget.’ It
was noted by John Porter that a Capital Improvement Fund is ‘desperately needed’
for the roads & pool. This motion
was denied 5 to 1 with Diane Porterfield voting for this motion.
The Pool will open
for Memorial Weekend. The Health
Department said “the pool looks spotless!”.
A new pool Vacuum was purchased at the cost of $1200.00 to be used daily
throughout the summer.
Community Standards
Committee has been ‘tabled’ until more discussion can decide the future of
this committee. It is believed by the
committee members & their Board Liaison: Diane Porterfield, that all
enforcement of the Rules & Regulations should be carried out by the POA
staff / personnel.
Have a terrific Memorial Weekend!
