The April Board minutes were
approved.
A motion was made by Ken
Benck to carry the Martial Arts issue to next month’s Board meeting – June 26th. Motion passed unanimously
Straw Vote:

Tennis courts – A
straw vote was confirmed to continue to use the tennis courts for it’s intended
purpose. John
Porter asked about the court's condition. Suzie Combs suggested the
surface be removed, clean and refurbish the concrete.

Purchase
of a Chipper not to exceed $2,200.00.
Passed unanimously.
·
Culvert
repair on Stone Briar & Independence not to exceed $4,000.00” was passed
unanimously. Entergy will replace the
pole at the same time.
A motion to
replace the 19th Hole air conditioner at a cost of $8,589.00 was
passed unanimously. This cost includes a
2-year warranty. Capital Improvement
Fund will be used for this purchase.
Diving board –
The Lions Club has offered to pay $1,500.00 toward the cost of a diving board
for the pool. A ‘pool fund’ of $300.00
will be added to the purchase price of $3,000.00 – leaving a balance of $1,200
to come from the Capital Improvement Fund.
Pavement saw – Diane Jones expressed concern regarding the need for
a pavement saw at a cost of $1,500.00 to be used to repair our roads.
Ken Benck made a motion to ‘study’
the need for the acquisition of this piece of equipment. Motion passed
