Lock Box
President Larry Hibbs explained the need for a ‘Lock Box’ to
be available at the Front Entrance Gate to allow Emergency personnel access to
the community. This box has been
installed. The Board will approve this
expenditure - $2,175.00 – at next week’s Board meeting.
Lift Arm Gate
The Lift Arm gates are “95% functional”. President Larry Hibbs explained that only
100% functional will be accepted. An
additional meter may need to be installed.
The time allowed for each vehicle will be increased to permit trailers
to pass through unhindered. All vehicles
must be prepared to STOP
before entering the lift gate behind another vehicle. This entrance is monitored by cameras. Any vehicle that comes into contact with a
Lift Arm gate will be asked to pay for damages.
South Side Gate
The Iron Gate in the South
Side is not functioning due to a lightening strike which burned out the
modem. Since this gate is ‘obsolete’, it
is difficult to purchase a new modem.
