The Diamondhead Annual Meeting was opened in prayer by resident / member Mike Fikes:  “May the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts be pleasing in your sight, Oh Lord our God…” Psalm 19:14

Resident / Member Max English lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance.  As we all placed our hands over our hearts and began to recite, our collective voices became louder with each word.  As we reached the words ‘one nation, under God’, the intensity was strong and our boldness expressive.  Thank you, Max.

Jennifer, is this
Baby #1 ?
Raffle tickets were passed out at the door as we entered, by our very own First Lady, President Chris Wasson’s wife, Jennifer… or “Vanna White” as Chris asked her to draw the first of two winners to receive a $25.00 gift.  Later, after the meeting, Raffle winner, Gary Morrison expressed his interest in the Social Committee and donated his gift of $25 to be used by this committee.

2015 Annual meeting minutes were approved.

July 2016 minutes with one correction.

Beautification Committee Chairperson, Kay Calderone, recognized Mike McFarlane for his dedication to serving Diamondhead through this committee.  He always said “sure” to any and all requests for assistance.  A certificate of appreciation is waiting for Mike –who was not in attendance.

Sharon Perisho presented a certificate of appreciation to Kay Calderone for her selfless and continuous service with the Beautification of Diamondhead.

The Annual Audit was reviewed by the Auditing firm:  The DPOA accounting records were “presented fairly”.  Total assets = $4,607,000.00.  A complete copy of this audit may be viewed in the POA office.

Treasurer's Report:

President Chris Wasson explained the departure of GM Ed Malloy.  Due to medical issues, Ed did not feel he could perform his duties in the best interest of Diamondhead.  Mr. Molloy has resigned as general manager of Diamondhead.

The POA office submitted this message to the membership (via email):
