opened with the unanimous approval of the October Board minutes. James Meredith moved the minutes be approved
with the correct spelling of Police ‘cruiser’.

Lots Write-off:
Martha
Lindvall made a motion to write off the unpaid debt of the 336 lots that are in
the state land commission for auction.
That amount is $1,402,378.80.
Diane Jones seconded this motion.
Motion approved unanimously. This
issue will be taken to DH Attorney for consideration.
It
is important to put a lien on each property as it becomes delinquent on
Diamondhead annual dues and before it is turned over to the state for
delinquent tax payments. This will allow
Diamondhead the opportunity to for future action / benefit.
Board Budget
Workshop:
The Board
will meet on Thursday, December 7, 2017 @ 6:30 p.m. for their first budget
workshop. A
list of department requests with detailed justification will be discussed.
