7:pm   President Gary Pritsch welcomed all members to our Town Meeting and asked for the Committee Reports:
Long Range Planning Committee – Chairman Steve Still:  
·         Concept Clusters – 74 different ideas as received from the community - 5 Topics:
1.       Re-Organization of the Controlling Agents / Practices in the Diamondhead Community
2.       Safety and Security
3.       Fiscal Management / Financial Profitability
4.       Maintenance of the Diamondhead Roads / Common Areas
5.       Attractive Amenities for Community Members
·         Mission:  Diamondhead is a safe and affordable family community
·         Mission statement: Diamondhead is a safe and affordable family friendly community with a broad range of activities.  Diamondhead provides a safe and financially responsible environment for friends, neighbors, staff and businesses to thrive today and into the future.
·         A three (3), five (5) and ten (10) year plan will be presented to the Board of Directors in the Spring.

Beautification Committee – Chairman Kay Calderon: 
     ·         Annual Bake Sale – November 18th, Saturday @ the Club House – 9:am
                 o   Raffle tickets will be on sale 😊

Safety Committee – Allen Magee:  
·         Interim Fix to allow the gate arms to close instantly & SOS System
o   To be installed Monday, November 20th 
·         Lions Club is donating the funds for improved camera equipment
o   Thank you 😊

Golf Committee – James Meredith:  
·         Dead trees will be cut down
·         Purchased an electronic message board for the golf shop
·         Approved $4,600 for Junior practice greens
·         New plan to eliminate geese eggs
Common Area Maintenance Committee – Diane Porterfield:
·         We finished our clean-up projects and looking forward to Spring !
DH 50th Anniversary Committee – Diane Jones:
·         Up-dating our original Recipe Book à Please send in your favorite recipes to”:

Roads Committee – Diane Jones:  
·         Needs a chairman & committee members
Social Committee – Sharon Perisho:  New Year’s Eve Party Planned – cover charge 😊

Annual Dues paid


·         Qual Choice Employee Insurance will go up 6% next year: $3,072 à $3,157
o   50 / 50 insurance coverage for 16 employees

Big Dog Wireless: This service has purchased property on Hickory Hill and will be erecting a tower to provide Internet service which will cover 100% of Diamondhead.  
Entergy à killing the vegetation under the power lines:  Entergy will not be cutting down the dead vegetation.  The Roads maintenance crew are working their way through the community cutting these dead trees.

Next Town meeting will be held in February 2018
