Karen Reagler of the Baim Law Firm will be conducting an estate planning seminar on Tuesday, September 21st from 6-7 p.m. in the banquet room at the Diamondhead Club House. She will discuss the basic documents that everyone should be aware of and plans to avoid family conflict and the court system. Karen Baim Reagler is the managing attorney of the Hot Springs and Hot Springs Village offices of Baim, Gunti, Mouser, Havner & Worsham, PLC. Ms. Reagler focuses her practice on elder law and related matters including estate planning and administration, trusts, wills, guardianships, adoptions, powers of attorney, and corporate law. She is admitted to practice in Arkansas, Tennessee and Missouri. Ms. Reagler earned her B.A. (religion) degree from Duke University and her M.A. (Near Eastern Studies) and J.D. (law) degrees from Washington University. She completed her LLM (masters of law) in Elder Law and Estate Planning from Western New England College of Law in May.
Ms. Reagler clerked for the Honorable Stephen N. Limbaugh, Jr. of the Missouri Supreme Court. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys ("NAELA"), the Arkansas Elder Lawyers, Wealthcounsel, and the Arkansas Bar Association. Her article Come Hell or High Water: a Water Regime for the Jordan River Basin was published in the Washington University Law Quarterly.
Karen is happily married to David Reagler and together they have two sets of twins ages 5 and 6 1/2. When not working or playing with the kids, Karen enjoys baking, reading, and exploring Hot Springs and its wonderful offerings. In her remaining time, Karen serves on the board of the Leo N. Levi Hospital and The Muses and is a member of the Hot Springs Giving Circle.
