Treasurer's Report:  Terry Shipp reported for Tom Lockette on the Financial Highlights:  Our revenues are up considerably... I'm sure this is from special effort going into the 19th Hole with special meals.  ...In time I think we are going to turn ourselves around here because we are getting more revenues at the 19th Hole and more play at the golf course. General Manager's Update:  Eric Markle introduced himself:  ...Todd Belz and I will team up and really make things better.  I have 26 years in the restaurant business, anything from the OutBack Steak House in San Juan, Porto Rico, to a Bed & Breakfast in Mexico City, to a TGI Fridays in Myrtle Beach, S.C. ... I think with Tina & myself and the people in the kitchen we are really starting to strive to make things better in the 19th Hole.  Making some good meals.

... increasing people, new faces coming out the eat.  We also have a wedding reception... Fun, up beat atmosphere. ... I think I have my plate kind of full right now.  Everything is going great !  Todd has made a good transition with me.  He has been by my side, answering a lot of questions.  And of 'course the community has been real helpful.  I think everything is going to work out really well.

Public Safety Committee:  Ray Massey - They have been ignored, by me, in the past.  ... Joe Claflin is a good person to head up this committee.  I assured them that they would not be ignored.  They had several things they wanted to present.  These items are posted on the Public Safety Committee page located on the rights side of The Committee Report.  I gave them the charge of doing a study and figuring out what they think would be the best way to have our security take care of the way we want it done, with the amount of money that we have available.
Dan Munroe suggested volunteer "Gate Keepers".

ACC:  Jack Watson - Permits for 6 homes have been granted.  These homes are in various stages of construction.
DeOttis asked the ACC committee Liaison - Jack Watson, about the "dog issue".  "This is a joke.  It has been a year.  We were promised that the kennel would not be put there under those conditions.  I think it is a disgrace to the community. ...It is a nuisance to the neighborhood.  I get calls all the time saying 'What are they going to do?'".  Mr. Massey sated that people need to call the general manager.  We have got to have this documented.  Betts Winsor assured the members there would be several letters regarding this issue sent to the Front Office for the General manager's attention .
Karen White asked about the coyotes that have been seen in Diamondhead.  It was also noted that a black bear had been reported.  Eric Markle stated:  "That is what I have been hired to do.  I will take care of it."

Beautification Committee:  Judy Thye - acting chairman, announced the Bake Sale on Nov. 18th- Posted in The Committee Report - 10-20-10.  Judy requested additional helping hands from other committees in decorating for Christmas.  Bob Jones offered 2 members of the Roads Committee.  Kelly Kindrix, was highly appreciated for her skills in decorating the fountain for the Fall season.

Social Committee:  Mary Pracht - liaison. Please see posts dated 10-19-10 regarding Halloween party.  We will be decorating inside the club house on Nov. 30th, Dec. 1st & 2nd.  Volunteers are welcome.

Cookie Exchange will be Friday, Dec. 3rd from 6:pm - 8:pm.

Rick Noffsinger (262-1251) is looking for local talents for "Music Night" that is hoped to be schedule soon.

Bob Jones thanked the general manager for Breakfast on Saturday mornings.  Mr. Markle stated that if it is a pretty day - Breakfast will be served.

DeeDee Ott spoke regarding Todd Belz & Eric Markle working together in the 19th Hole:  "It is that kind of Team Work that makes me love both of them!"

     Mrs. Ott - regarding the Family Fun Center:  I do know this, having been told by Larry Brown. I have turned in 2 of my customers who have made the decision to become a part of the program by using their lot as their down payment for a condo/hotel.  He (Larry Brown) told me that they were having 2 of the customers, that have decided to a be a part of the program, as guests at the ground breaking.  So, I know of four.  That is all I can report. 

Terry Shipp stated that "their marketing is picking up speed.  The momentum is growing weekly.  By next week they will have made some trips to Chicago and other cities to sell these units."

A Proposal was made by Duane Mountain regarding the posting of signs on vacant lots.  1 sign per 5 lots that are listed.  Asking for the board approval.

Jim Hannon (262-9070)announced the public meeting for the Garland County Water Board on Tuesday, November 9th, 7:pm, in the club house.  Note: Post dated 10-20-10 Discussion will involve the loaning of money for this new board.

Golf Committee - Chairman Ron Pershio (262-9025):

 Fire wood will be distributed as needed.  Please contact Jim Ryan (262-2523).

We have spent time repairing the golf cart path and pot holes on the back 9.  Eddie and his crew have the painting on #9 completed from the road down to the bottom... yardage markers painted,... forward ladies' tees on all 18 holes.  If you have feed back please let Bob Jones know (262-9262). 

Deotis Cotton (262-9014) - a member of the golf committee, is working on a volunteer marshal program.  These volunteers can earn points toward free golf rounds.  Eric :  If golf rules are broken, there is a way to address this situation "if you turn them in", "it can be anonimous", but we need the golf members to report violations on the golf course.
