Board Meeting – September 25, 2014


Board Meeting began at 7:13 pm

All Board members present.

Old Business:
  • Continuation of Ensminger / Chambliss / DPOA Trial
    • PreTrial Motions ….December 16th
    • Trial dates …………February 4, 5, 6th

  • Formal Ratification of Culvert Repairs on Independence Dr.
    • Unanimously approved

New Business:
  • Police Department request for new radios
    • Unanimously approved for $5,639.00
  • Donation from Lions Club
    • $300.00 Pop Corn machine
    • $80.00 Coffee pot
      • Unanimously approved
  • Political Signs:  Director Gordon Moore suggested the Board concern themselves ‘with more pressing issues’.  GM Turner stated that no ‘official’ complaint / concern form has been filed.  Secretary JoAnn Rhodes was told by President Mary Pracht that she may post her Political Sign in her front yard.  No vote taken.  Update on this issue
  • Treasurer John Porter passed out a revised financial budget to each board member.  This revision is due to the change in the 19th Hole management.  This Revision will be voted on during October’s Board meeting [October 23rd].
  • Line of Credit will expire at the end of October.  It was agreed upon by the Board to allow the line of Credit to expire.
  • Youth Fishing idea presented by property owners was denied due to the lack of police enforcement and the need for all DH members to have access to the front ponds.  President Pracht stated, “leave the fishing ponds as is”.
