Golf Tournament Committee

Need your Input Please !!!

We would really like to get the numbers and participation up in the Men's and Women's Club Championship. This should be one of our biggest and best Tournaments of the year. This is for us and something we should take pride in and support.

The Tournament committee would really appreciate your personal thoughts on the way we need to flight the Men's and Women's Club Championship.

Here is a few things we have discussed:
What if we had 2 different Divisions and 2 ways of competing in the Club Championship?
The first Division would be a Handicap Division Tournament with you competing against the people of the same handicap broke down in flights by Todd, and playing from the tee's your handicap was set from. You would be able to play the ball up one club length . Rake and place in the sand. etc.

The second Division would be played by ASGA rules with a few exceptions on age...No handicap involved only age matters, you would also play the ball down in this divison... Men 40 and younger would play from the Blues, Women from the Reds, Mid Senior Men 40 - 55 would play from the whites and Women from the Reds, Senior Men 55 - 70 would play from Gold's and women from the reds and Super Senior 70 and over from the golds and Women from the greens. With this we would also have a Junior Amateur Division for our younger residents with no monetary winning within this division only plaques.

Please keep in mind in each division if there is not enough participants that flight will be eleminated and you would have to play in another division or a combined division.

Please let Todd Belz ToddB@wletc.com or Kevin Woodrow KNLWoodrow@yahoo.com  know your thoughts on these subjects or your different ideals.

Thanks,
