Public Safety Expo to Be Held at Lake Catherine State Park
Saturday, April 21, 2012

            Lake Catherine State Park has teamed up with sponsors and representatives in both Hot Spring and Garland Counties to host a Safety Exposition on Saturday, April 21 from 10 am until 2 pm. The event is open to the public and will feature close to 20 booths, free lunch, and live scenarios on the banks of Lake Catherine. You can expect personnel from the Hot Springs County HazMat Decon Team, a live auto extrication, a single engine air tanker water drop over the lake and a fire boat demonstration. Families can expect a host of giveaways and information provided in a relaxing setting. Each exhibit will feature representatives to answer questions and provide entertaining site stops all over the campground. Visitors are welcome to attend anytime between 10 and 2.
