The meeting was opened with the unanimous passing of the August Minutes.

Old Business:

Craft Fair will be held in the Club House on Saturday, November 2, 2013.  Crafters will have the opportunity to display & sell their creations.  Members of the community will have the pleasure of shopping for unique Christmas gifts right here at home.  For more information, please contact Director Faye Taylor @ 262-0558

GM Search:  Job Fair in Little Rock – October 1^st – 10:am à 1:pm

• “Hiring Our Heroes” ~ Suzzi Combs & Faye Taylor will be presenting information regarding Diamondhead’s general manager position opportunity to (retired?) military personnel seeking civilian employment.

Strong Men & Women – Motion passed unanimously to allow Dottie Odenheimer to begin this exercise program on October 3^rd.

• Monday & Thursdays – 9:am – 10:am
• Cost is $12.00 per year.  This program will begin at no fee to participants.  The $12.00 enrollment fee will begin in January.

Family Amenity Membership idea was “Tabled” for future discussion.

Delinquent Owners à Credit Bureaus:  A motion passed unanimously to begin accepting bids from collection Bureaus.  This will implement a procedure whereby all DH members over 1 year delinquent in the POA Dues will be turned over to a Credit Bureau.  Diamondhead Member John Coleman will be heading up this effort.

Director John Porter expressed his desire to eliminate the necessity of ‘so many Board meetings’.

John Cummings asked, “how will the Town know what will be on the agenda for the Town meeting?”  No answer.

It was decided by the Board to move the Agenda meeting to 6:pm on the third Thursday of the month, one hour before the Town Meeting (7:pm).  This will be the schedule for the months of October & November, ‘to see how it works’.

• October 17^th:   6:pm Agenda meeting
•                         7:pm Town meeting

Anyone who would like to be on the Agenda for the Town meeting is advised to contact a Board member or the POA office.

President Suzzi Combs made a statement regarding her work with DRC and/or Diamondhead Reality as not being in conflict of interest with her position on the Board of Directors.  Suzzi stated she did not have a real-estate or contractor's license.  "I am retired."
