Happy Thanksgiving
To the residents of Diamondhead,
Welcome to the holiday season. As many joys as we all share, there always seems to be a fly in the eggnog. This past week Diamondhead experienced some of the meanness to which we have long felt we were immune.
Several of our residents had their cars ransacked and items were stolen. No vehicles were damaged. We may have become complacent in our own personal security. Are you locking your cars, your homes, and closing your garage doors? The world in which we live has changed.
We have the vehicle that tail-gated in on video. We have videos of the suspects using stolen credit cards. Reports have been filed with both counties. Garland County Sheriff’s Department offers praises for the outstanding job done by our Chief Tyner’s remarkable results in such a short time.
The ONLY WAY to stop tailgating is to man the gate 24/7. The Board is addressing these issues as quickly as possible. Changes are on the way.

The Marquee at the Front Gate indicates a meeting was held yesterday, November 26th, regarding a security issue in Diamondhead. I have sent a request to the Board members requesting information. Chief Joel Tyner was not a part of this meeting. President Suzzi Combs called and officiated this information session. (???)
