I was out of town when this occurred, but I thought it should be brought to your attention. At the weekly Fore Seasons Golf event on February 25th, a guest became incapacitated and unresponsive. Fore Seasons members, Jim Martin, Don Oseroff and Lee Reed evaluated the situation and began administering CPR. A call to Chief Joel Tyner was made, and he arrived along with a portable defibrillator. CPR and the defibrillator were used to keep the individual responsive until an ambulance arrived. I was told that he had surgery last week and has been released from the hospital. In the interest of privacy concerns, I am not listing his name.
Jim Martin, Don Oseroff, Lee Reed and Joel Tyner helped to save a life, and there aren't many things better than that. The Diamondhead Lions Club bought two defibrillators last year for the POA.
