PETITION TO RECALL AND REPLACE CURRENT DIAMONDHEAD POA BOARD MEMBERS AND GENERAL MANAGER WITH AN IMMEDIATE SPECIAL ELECTION FOR NEW MEMBERS
The purpose of this
petition is to gather a sufficient number of signatures from qualified
Diamondhead Property Owners to recall / remove all current board members (9)
nine. (DPOA By-Laws: Article 8, a &
b)
Immediately upon
receiving the required number of signatures, the current board will be replaced
with an interim board of 3 until such time as a special election can be held to
vote in new members. (Interim board is
not to exceed a maximum of 90 days)
Reasons for removal
of current board members are as follows: (list is not inclusive of violations)
- Dereliction of duty
- Incompetency
- Ethical Violations
- Abuse of power. Complete disregard for By-Laws, policy,
and a lack of common sense in dealing with community relations and
promoting the community.
- Failure to provide adequate and
complete financial statements (Article VI, Section 2a)
- Unauthorized use of POA funds without
a vote of the board
- Unauthorized “closed” sessions, lack
of transparency and failing to post the proper requirements of those
meetings to the property owners.
- Numerous bad business decisions that
are costly to the property owners
The best interest of
the community is protected by the removal of the current board. It is further agreed by this petition that
the Executive board consisting of President Suzzi Combs, VP Rick Noffsinger , Treasurer Tom
Moore , Secretary Faye Taylor be
banned from running or holding a board position for a period of 7 years. And, upon removal of the board, the current GM Wallace "Buddy" Hudson is to be removed immediately from his position as general manager.
