The Garland County Republican Women are sponsoring an event at Diamondhead on Sunday afternoon, June 5, 2011 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. The festivities start with lunch at the country club where your local government representatives will be available for you to talk to one on one. NO SPEECHES!!! This will include the treasurer, the county judge, the mayor of Hot Springs, all the JPs (both parties) and many others.
They have all been invited and many have already confirmed that they will attend. There may also be a national cerebrity or two, but this is tentative. We'll let you know as soon as we're sure. After the luncheon, there will be party boat rides on Lake Catherine and some of our lovely, upscale houses, both on the lake and on the golf course, will be open for touring. Goody bags and door prizes are included as well.
SUCH A DEAL! Tickets are $25.00 which includes everything. This is a good chance to showcase Diamondhead, so please come and bring someone with you! Tickets are available at Riviera Utilities. If you need more information, call Katherine Denow at 262-1545.
